VAT/TAX, Duties & Customs Info

Overview

  • We are not VAT registered. Any VAT, tax, or duties shown at checkout are calculated and collected by Teleship and may not be reclaimable, including by VAT-registered businesses.
  • Customers may contact us prior to purchase to request direct shipping without Teleship. In such cases, all applicable VAT, taxes, and duties will be payable by the customer upon delivery.

DDP & DDU Shipping

We offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the following countries, thanks to Teleship.

Meaning any Customs and Duties, and Tax will be applied at checkout for no surprises on your end as the buyer.

Is VAT/TAX Reclaimable?

We, Amber7Cine, are not VAT registered and therefore do not charge VAT directly on orders placed through our Shopify store.

We use Teleship to calculate and collect applicable import VAT, sales taxes, customs duties, and related charges. These charges are calculated and collected by Teleship based on the delivery destination and shipment details.

Any taxes, VAT, or duties collected at checkout are charged and processed by Teleship or the relevant tax or customs authority, not by us. As a result, we do not issue VAT invoices for these amounts.

Please note that, depending on your location and tax status, taxes or VAT collected via Teleship may not be reclaimable, including by VAT-registered businesses, as the charges may not be issued in the customer’s name. Customers are responsible for confirming whether such charges are recoverable under their local tax rules.

All taxes, VAT, and duties collected are non-refundable once an order has been processed.

Alternative Option to reclaim VAT/TAX.

If you prefer not to have taxes, VAT, or duties calculated and collected via Teleship, please contact us prior to placing your order. In such cases, we can arrange direct shipping, and any applicable VAT, taxes, duties, or customs charges will be payable by you directly to the relevant carrier or customs authority upon delivery.
