Radius RAD Mini Sony Universal Microphone Mount Replacement - FX9, FX6, FX5, FX3

These are the brand-new RAD Minis from radius. They have originally been designed for shorter microphones, think Deity S-Mic 2S, not so much MKH-416, However, we are running a special 72D & 82D strength (normally 45D & 55D) which makes ours stiffer than the ones you normally can get from Radius, but allowing them to be more compatible with longer and larger microphones.

Why RAD Mini?

• Small-mic friendly — particularly well suited to compact microphones such as the Sanken CS-M1.

Lyre Strengths

• 82D — Best for MKH-416, Deity S-Mic 2S and CS-M1 with large windjammers.
• 55D — Better for smaller microphones and smaller windjammers.
• 45D — Best for compatible microphones without windjammers.

NEW CNC UMM Mount

• 6061-T6 aluminium with black Type II anodized finish.
• UNC 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 tapped threads.
• Quick-release thumb screws for fast removal from the camera.
• Can also be used as a universal mic holder on a mini tripod or boom arm.
• The threaded holes are not designed to hold accessories while attached to your camera.
