- UNC 3/8-16 and UNC 1/4-20 tapped threads. These threads are not designed to hold accessories while attached to your camera.
- Quick-release thumb screws to really quickly detach the mic holder from the camera, doubling it as a universal mic holder, allowing you to quickly thread it into a mini tripod or boom arm to be used as an overhead mic.
