What's New?

This item also offers a UNC 3/8-16 and UNC 1/4-20 tapped threads. These threads are not designed to hold accessories while attached to your camera.

But combined with our quick-release thumb screws, this allows you to really quickly detach the mic holder from the camera, doubling it as a universal mic holder, allowing you to quickly thread it into a mini tripod or boom arm to be used as an overhead mic.

Meaning you don't need to carry with you a separate microphone in a separate microphone holder, or take your microphone off your FX6 to mount it in a separate holder.

This idea was thought of by Felipe Dana from Associated Press, finding a clever way to further slim down the kit required for extreme shooting conditions.

Camera Compatibility Chart

- This is the UMM3 mount meaning it's compatible across the FX3 and FX6, but you do need to order the correct version that will come with the correct thumb screws to be used on either camera. (The FX3 thumb screws are slightly longer than the FX6)

This mount is the most commonly used 0° - Angle

    • Will not obstruct XLR Releases.
    • Will not obstruct 3,5mm Input (FX3, FX2, FX30)
